There are many various plumbing problems that you could encounter, ranging from tiny leaks to a large sewer systems being fully blocked up, collapsed.

What are the most common residential plumbing problems? In San Diego.

Here are a few of the most typical plumbing issues that both residential owners may encounter.

Leaky Faucet

But dripping faucets are more than just a bother. If ignored, they can substantially raise your water cost.

A single drip can waste more than 100 gallons of water annually, whether it is caused by a washer that has come loose or a worn-out faucet handle etc.

Slow Draining Sinks

Excessive Food or kitchen sink oil dumped down a drain is the main reason for a kitchen sink draining slowly. Food particles and hardened oil can clog drains and prevent water from draining.

Toilet Leaks

You might have a leak if you've ever flushed your toilet and it seemed to take a very long time to fill up.

Because quiet toilet leaks happen when the flapper valve is worn out, many of them go unnoticed.

I have found that a toilet leak is a common occurrence. If you notice an increase in your water bill but no other leaks.

Lessening Shower Pressure

You might need to hire a plumber if the pressure in your recent shower doesn't seem to be as strong as it was.

There can be mineral buildup in your shower head. And it could be something as simple that the showerhead needs to be replaced.

This also depends on how hard your water is. These minerals eventually obstruct the flow of water to your shower head. And San Diego does have hard water.

Blocked Sewer

It can be exceedingly challenging to handle a backed-up sewage system. It smell bad, causes a mess everywhere, and costs a lot of money to fix.

Sadly, it happens more frequently than you might imagine. It is advised that a plumber do an inspection of your home to look for potential leaks and sewage problems.
